The City of Carrollton’s Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with West Georgia Pickleball Association (WGPA) to provide a variety of structured play at Longview Park and Lakeshore Park (2025) pickleball courts. WGPA is a non-profit 501c3 membership organization led by volunteers with bylaws and a governing executive board. Through an agreement and in conjunction with the City of Carrollton Parks and Recreation Department, WGPA is the exclusive program provider for pickleball and is responsible for advising, organizing, and managing leagues, clinics, private lessons/group instruction, tournaments, and structured open play as desired at Longview and Lakeshore Pickleball Courts. WGPA was created in 2024 to with the purpose of connecting the pickleball players in our community and to serve as an ambassador for pickleball in the West Georgia area.
