Court Rules

PATL Rules and Requirements:

Play at your own risk.

All City of Carrollton park rules apply.

Courts are for pickleball play only.

Courts are available first come first serve unless reserved for WGPA organized play.

No wheels (except wheelchairs) are allowed on the courts.

No pets allowed on the courts and must be leashed at the facility.

No private instruction or lessons allowed unless approved by the Carrollton Parks and Recreation Department.

Only 4 players at a time are allowed on the court. All waiting players, bags, etc. should remain outside of the gate.

Do not climb on fences or nets.

Proper footwear is required. No flip flops, crocs, sandals, boots, cleats, etc. Court shoes are highly recommended.

Good sportsmanship and respect for others are expected at all times.

Please dispose of all trash and do not leave litter on or around the courts.

PATL Court Etiquette:

Be respectful and kind to others.

Wait until play pauses to walk in or between courts inside the fence.

If your ball goes onto another occupied court, alert the players by loudly saying "ball" and wait for play to pause before entering the court.

OPEN Play Guidelines:

More courts than people = Independent play/first come first serve

More people than courts = Open Play (Courts 8-19) /Paddle Stack Required (Courts 1-7)

Less than 7 people waiting = 2 off, 2 on - winners stay and split

More than 7 people waiting = 4 off, 4 on
